JCB Mud RunLearn More-->
JCB is a leading manufacturer of construction equipment. Founded by Lord Bamford in 1945 in Great Britain, JCB is still a privately held company and has a large manufacturing operation in Pooler.
From the beginning, JCB has been part of the Pooler and Savannah area communities. The annual JCB Mud Run Mud Run raises money for the Lady Bamford Center for Early Childhood Development. This center provides education and social skill development to children from six weeks to five years of age. Priority admission is offered to children from homeless and low-income families, as well as children with physical, mental or emotional challenges. The center’s curriculum prepares young children for kindergarten and elementary school and helps them compete with other children academically. Serving children in the Savannah Community, it is operated by Wesley Community Centers of Savannah.
The next Mud Run is June 21, 2014. For more information go to JCBMudRun.com
